The Institute for Energy Strategy (ESI), founded in 2023, is a think tank and research hub established to support and advise Hungary’s Minister of Energy and to provide strategic, evidence-based insights for shaping Hungary’s and Europe’s energy, climate, and economic policies. Our mission is to serve as a stable and reliable foundation for policy design, delivering up-to-date data and high-quality analyses that address all facets of the energy–climate nexus.
